She’s a real-life superhero.
A mother of four sons took a bullet shielding one of her boys at Thursday night’s protest in Dallas where snipers opened fire on police.
Shetamia Taylor, a 37-year-old mother — seen here with a pink “Super Mom” t-shirt — decided to take her four boys, ages 12 to 17, to the protests, “to kind of let them experience something that was going on in history,” her sister ,Theresa Williams, told Fox4 Dallas.
“They began to hear the gunfire,” Williams said. “She got separated from three of her boys, but she was able to push one, she said, in between two cars on the curb, and jump on top of him and shield him.”
“Sometime in between that she caught a bullet in the back of her right leg.”
Taylor, who was one of two civilians injured in the gunfire, protected her son for five minutes until cops located them.
